A performance by Junist Ensemble in the Ivan Franko Lviv State Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The dance palette of today’s Junist reaches from central Ukrainian lyrical dances to energetic dances of the Zaporizhian Kozaks (warriors). Junist has shown it’s professional skills with outstanding success in many countries all over the world and has had wonderful press reviews. At present the repertoire of the group consists of 40 dances and compositions and performances are accompanied by a 15 piece orchestra. The success of the group is mainly because of it’s talented dancers and that when selecting new dancers, Junist is able to choose from 9 preparatory studios in which there are over 400 dancers of different ages and nationalities. Junist will always try to bring the people of the world closer by means of the international language of “Dance”.
