A window pane of stained glass in the famous department store "De Bijenkorf" (The Beehive) in the shopping centre of The Hague. De Bijenkorf, designed by Pieter Kramer as a 'Palace of Enjoyment of Life' openend in 1926. It had beautifuly leaded light windows, fitted in the staircase. But, because of modern times and new ideas about furnishing of shops, the windows fell into decay. In 1994 the management decided to repair them completely. It took 10 years to do so. Today the historical windows are rehabilitated.
